Refund & Cancellation Policy

01Scope

This policy applies to executive training programmes, courses and other paid activities of SabiLaw Research and Training Services Limited (trading as SabiLaw Academy) (“SabiLaw Academy”). It forms part of our Terms of Use.

02How to cancel

All cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected]. The date we receive your written notice is the cancellation date.

03Refunds for executive programmes and in-person courses

• 30 weeks or more before the programme start date: refund of fees paid, less a 30% administrative fee.
• Less than 30 weeks before the programme start date: no refund.
• Non-attendance without written cancellation is not refundable.

04Substitutes

A registered participant may send a colleague in their place at any time before the programme starts, at no extra cost. Please send us the substitute’s details in writing so we can update registration and certificate records.

05Transfers to a later cohort

Transfers to a later cohort are not available within 20 weeks of the programme start date. Earlier transfer requests are considered subject to availability.

06If SabiLaw Academy cancels or reschedules

If we cancel or reschedule a programme, registered participants will be offered a free transfer to another cohort.

We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs incurred by participants, so we recommend booking flexible travel.

07Online and self-paced courses

Online and self-paced courses are non-refundable once accessed.

08Refund processing

Approved refunds are processed within 30 working days of our confirmation, to the original payer, by the original payment method where possible. Bank and transfer charges may be deducted.

09Group and institutional bookings

For group bookings and dedicated cohorts, the cancellation and refund terms in the signed agreement or proposal apply where they differ from this policy.
